Technical Operator - Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Technical Operator to join our team at a well-established company in West Bromwich, working within a specialist chemical manufacturing environment.

This role is essential to the smooth operation of production processes, ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage chemical reactions, distillations, separations, transfers, and filtrations.
  • Work within a 5-crew shift system, with 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off.
  • Benefit from an 18-day break every 8 weeks, with 1 day dedicated to training.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a process operator role, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, with familiarity in COSHH and risk assessments.
  • Holding a counterbalance forklift truck licence is advantageous.

GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 'C' or above (or equivalent) are required.

A relevant Level 2 vocational qualification or above would be beneficial.

The salary for this role is £31,212, which includes a shift premium.
