Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Castle Vale. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working 1:1 with children with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis in a KS1 class setting
  • Assist the class teacher with daily activities and ensure the student can access the curriculum
  • Assess the achievements of the pupil and provide support to help them reach their full potential
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working 1:1 with children with Autism
  • Ability to work in a KS1 class setting
