Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Small Heath, Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD and additional needs in the Reception class.

Job Summary:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD and additional needs
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Support the pupil's educational and social development
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff and other support staff
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Ability to provide 1:1 support and personal care
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £86.40
  • Full-time position with 8:20am-4pm term-time only hours
  • Opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team
