Job Title: Registered Manager for Learning Disability Services
Post Summary: As a key member of the Chosen Care Group Ltd team, we are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Learning Disability services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a better everyday life for the people we support and who work for us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide transparent and high-integrity leadership with a minimum of five years' experience of managing LD services, including complex needs and behaviors that may challenge services.
- Care Management: Work in partnership with senior managers to deliver a safe, high-quality service for service users. Liaise with clients, families, professionals, and assess client needs, including PBS and outcome wheel, and draft full support plans.
- Team Management: Identify, delegate, and manage team leaders for each service user. Conduct weekly or as-needed catch-up calls with team leaders to monitor progress and arrange community support, such as work placements, voluntary placements, and educational placements.
- Quality Monitoring: Work with support workers, families, and professionals to achieve agreed outcomes and produce monthly progress reports. Regularly liaise with families and team leaders to amend services and improve quality.
- Staff Management: Book staff for training, manage staff teams, and supervise and mentor support staff and team leaders. Maintain low staff turnover and high continuity of care to service users.
- Service Expansion: Bid on new packages, network with professionals, and search for suitable accommodation to expand services.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold a recognized qualification in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or be willing to work towards one.
- Experience: Minimum five years' experience of managing LD services, including complex needs and behaviors that may challenge services.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to work in partnership with senior managers and professionals.
Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
