About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Executive to join our team at Shape Recruitment. As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for owning the day-to-day execution of all paid search activity, employing strong platform knowledge and supplier relationships to deliver exceptional planning, testing, optimization, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Work with the wider team to set strategies and plan the media mix for paid search campaigns.
  • Client Delivery: Deliver on the agency promise across all areas, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Client Communication: Contribute to client calls and meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Account Management: Regularly audit accounts to improve performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
  • Supplier Management: Liaise with 3rd party providers and partners to resolve any issues that arise, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Freelance Management: Manage and coordinate freelancers as necessary, ensuring a high quality of work is maintained.
  • Team Development: Invest time promoting and training team members in the role that Paid Search plays in the wider ecosystem.
  • Adwords Qualifications: Support all team members in acquiring their Adwords qualifications, ensuring a high level of expertise within the team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Solid experience working in a Paid Search, agency-side role, with a strong understanding of where paid search fits in the wider digital marketing mix.
  • Commercial Awareness: An understanding of the commercials of online marketing and ecommerce, with the ability to manage own workload to ensure that individual, team, and company targets are achieved.
  • Test Planning: Take ownership of clients' testing plans, organizing both tactical and mid-term campaign actions and goals, and managing the planning, execution, and evaluation of tests with methodical accuracy.
  • PPC Experience: Experience planning and running PPC accounts directly through Adwords and Bing, as well as via third-party platforms such as Doubleclick Search and Marin.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookups, as well as Google AdWords and Google Analytics certification.
  • Campaign Management: Experience with sizeable campaigns and budgets, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
