Job Overview

EMR, a specialist in marketing recruitment, is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Executive to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for delivering integrated marketing campaigns to drive both acquisition and retention for a key consumer finance savings product.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity, with a competitive salary of c£50,000 and a flexible working arrangement that includes 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Support the development and effective execution of the marketing and digital strategy for our B2C financial services business.
  • Maximize Opportunities: Ensure all opportunities are maximized, including growing engagement with existing clients and attracting new customers.
  • Acquisition and Retention Strategies: Assist the business with ATL and BTL acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Marketing Activity Execution: Effectively help with the execution of marketing activities within agreed budget.
  • Client-Focused Marketing: Execute marketing plans that are client-focused, meet business objectives, and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Collaboration: Build a close working relationship with the relevant external agencies and internal teams supporting the marketing team.
  • ROI Optimization: Optimise marketing initiatives to ensure effective ROI on all campaigns, with a focus on digital activity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Constantly improve on existing activities, approach, and accepted standards, sharing learnings with the team and peers.
Requirements
  • Marketing Experience: Solid experience within a similar B2C marketing role.
  • Financial Services Experience: B2C financial services (consumer finance/insurance) experience is essential.
  • Digital Marketing Skills: Track record of website, PPC, TV, social, print, and digital marketing experience would be an advantage.
  • Proactive and Accountable: Proactive, accountable, and prepared to take ownership.
  • Marketing Strategy Implementation: Proven skills in implementing marketing strategy, from developing the plan to execution and measurement.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Sound knowledge of marketing, including experience of the full media mix, promotions, and communications B2C channel.
  • Campaign Management: Experienced campaign manager, leading from agency briefing through to execution, delivery, reporting, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills with a track record of delivery to time and within budget.
  • Relationship Management: Proficient in managing external 3rd party relationships and internal stakeholders/partners.
  • Creativity and Idea Generation: Naturally creative, idea-generating, and prepared to challenge the norm.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Digital marketing expertise, including CRM/email marketing, PPC, SEO, and social media.
  • Copywriting Skills: Proficient copywriting skills to support enhancement of content developed internally and by agency partners.
