Job Title: Engineering Reliability Team Leader

Location: Stevenage

Salary: £50,000 + Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Reliability Team Leader to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member of our commercial contract team, you will be responsible for supervising the effective and efficient running of the onsite hard services function, which includes Electrical, Mechanical, and Building fabric disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to ensure smooth production shutdowns as part of the working schedule.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials and supplies required for maintenance tasks.
  • Support the Hard Services Manager in preparing and controlling departmental budgets and life cycle information.
  • Assist in preparing business cases for future capital expenditure projects.
  • Review asset registers and maintenance records to determine equipment life cycles.
  • Manage the team against agreed SLAs and KPIs as per the client contract.
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure adherence to health and safety processes and procedures.
  • Manage toolbox talks and deliver continuous improvement through best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Ensure specialist equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Liaise with the contract team on PPM schedules and tasks from the Maximo system.
  • Ensure Agility Work Orders are updated for real-time MI.
  • Verify subcontractors are working under correctly issued permits.
  • Attend client/supplier meetings as required.
  • Liaise with production managers to confirm task schedules.
  • Support the projects team as needed.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 Electrical installation or equivalent.
  • 17th or 18th Edition IEE Registration or equivalent.
  • Approved apprenticeship or relevant experience in Building Services.
  • Previous critical experience.
  • Health & Safety Training.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience is required.
