Role Overview:

This position is crucial for the leadership and management of our new intervention hub, which serves families and children at risk of entering residential care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and provide mentorship to support staff.
  • Develop and execute personalized care plans for children and young people.
  • Engage with families and the community to foster supportive relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Build positive connections with children, their families, and external organizations.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and professional development of team members.
  • Manage administrative duties, including documentation and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a residential care environment for children.
  • Background in supporting children with emotional and complex needs.
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour support methodologies.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Clean Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Valid UK driving license.
