Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze weekly sales performance to identify trends and opportunities, providing insightful reports as needed.
  • Manage category and SKU-level forecasts to optimize sales, inventory levels, profit margins, and product availability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee stock availability and address any supply chain discrepancies.
  • Oversee the booking process to ensure seamless execution across all sales channels.
  • Communicate promotional inventory requirements effectively.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new products and vendor-specific promotions.
  • Calculate promotional uplifts and integrate them into forecasting systems and reports.
  • Ensure timely stock deliveries to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Support the Merchandiser and Senior Merchandiser in achieving critical merchandising milestones and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure stock is delivered to the warehouse on schedule to meet availability targets in accordance with established KPIs.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a merchandising support role or relevant academic background.
  • Understanding of inventory allocation and management.
  • Proven experience in forecasting and maintaining a WSSI.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and adaptability to new systems.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • A proactive individual eager to learn and grow.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
