Key Responsibilities
- Analyze weekly trading performance to identify challenges and opportunities, preparing relevant insights as necessary.
- Manage category and SKU-level forecasts to optimize sales, inventory levels, margin, and product availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability and address any supply gaps as needed.
- Oversee the booking process to ensure seamless execution across all channels.
- Communicate promotional volume requirements effectively.
- Facilitate the introduction of new products and vendor-specific promotions.
- Calculate promotional uplifts and integrate them into forecasting systems and reports.
- Ensure timely stock arrivals to maximize sales opportunities.
- Support the Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser in achieving merchandising milestones and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensure timely stock delivery to the warehouse to meet availability targets aligned with KPIs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandise Administration role, or a relevant degree.
- Understanding of inventory allocation and management.
- Proven experience in forecasting and updating a WSSI.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- A proactive self-starter with a desire for personal development.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
