We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Prisoner Escort Officer. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for providing safe and secure court transportation and custody services.
Key Responsibilities- Collect detainees from prisons or police stations and transport them safely and securely to courts.
- Ensure the care of detainees' physical and mental wellbeing during transportation.
- Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, and ensure their safety and security.
- Search property or people as required, and complete paperwork and data entry for the day.
- A current driver's license, C1 License (valid CPC card desirable) / D License (with valid CPC card & Tacho Graph desirable).
- Reasonable fitness level and good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and control all situations, and work well under pressure.
- A competitive salary of £28,715 (40hrs pw), with opportunities for salary increments and additional earnings through a generous driving allowance.
