Role Overview:

As a Prisoner Escort Officer at Serco Group, you will be part of a team responsible for providing safe and secure court transportation services. You will collect detainees from prisons or police stations and transport them to courts, ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing. Your role will involve accompanying defendants in court rooms and cells, searching property or people, and completing paperwork and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and transport detainees from prisons or police stations to courts
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells
  • Search property or people
  • Ensure food and drink are available
  • Complete paperwork and data entry

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a current driver's license, a C1 License (valid CPC card desirable), or a D License (with valid CPC card & Tacho Graph desirable). You must also be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communication skills. Our roles would suit individuals with an interest in criminology or psychology.
