About the Role

As a Prisoner Escort Officer at Serco Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of detainees to and from court. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect detainees from prisons or police stations and transport them safely and securely to courts
  • Ensure the care and well-being of detainees during transportation and while in custody
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, and search property or people as required
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day, and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current driver's license, and a C1 License (valid CPC card desirable) or D License (with valid CPC card & Tacho Graph desirable). You must also be reasonably fit, have good written and verbal communication skills, and be able to manage and control all situations.
