Role Purpose:
  • Support and execute essential Assurance Activities to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the business to embed the Assurance Framework within the Operations Department.
  • Proactively evaluate and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of key controls to manage business risks in Commercial Operations.
  • Assist the Commercial Operations Teams in assessing risks and controls in line with the Compliance Self-Assessment Framework.
  • Review Functional Risk Registers, working with risk owners to ensure comprehensive risk capture.
  • Support the Commercial Operations Teams in maintaining up-to-date Strategies, Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
  • Oversee the execution of Assurance testing and reviews for Commercial Operations.
  • Conduct ad hoc compliance reviews as requested by the Central Assurance Team or Senior Assurance Manager.
  • Manage daily assurance activities effectively.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Influence and enhance the culture of compliance across Brand & Marketing and Product Functions.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms within the Commercial Operations department to foster a proactive Assurance Function.
  • Work collaboratively with the business to mitigate identified risks.
  • Contribute to the efficiency of risk registers within the Operations department, taking ownership and escalating key findings as necessary.
  • Maintain the Incident Log, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for strengthening controls.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Allwyn's procedures, policies, and processes.
  • Prepare reports and management information related to Assurance for senior management.
  • Maintain a suite of key controls, ensuring regular updates for relevance and accuracy.
  • Execute Allwyn's Self-Assessment Programme, monitoring progress and compliance risks, and following up on resolutions.
  • Ensure all activities are supported by adequate documentation and quality checks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues to ensure consistent policy advice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to educate on the importance of compliance.

  • Support teams in adhering to licensing obligations.
  • Conduct work with integrity at all times.
  • Share best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure effective execution of testing and reviews.
  • Foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Audit, Risk, and Compliance is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with strong controls and compliance environments, with experience in developing compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to articulate findings and propose solutions through report writing.
  • Proven track record as a Compliance/Assurance Analyst.
  • Analytical and intellectually agile, capable of managing complexity.
  • High integrity and independence, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Collaborative, influential, and a good listener, fostering consensus across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the potential to influence various stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Experience in business operations with regulatory exposure.
