Project Building Surveyor

The University of Reading is seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join its Campus Development team within the Estates Directorate. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex repair and refurbishment projects, from inception to handover.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver a variety of complex repair and refurbishment projects, from inception to handover.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the university to deliver the Estates Strategy.
- Work on a diverse range of buildings, from Grade II listed to modern structures.
- Join an established Campus Development team, comprising a Campus Development Director, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and support staff.
- Contribute to a team that is community and culture-focused, making a genuine impact on the student population.
- Enjoy an autonomous role with responsibility for managing your own workload.
- Experience an excellent work/life balance.
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in building surveying, managing small to medium-sized property projects.
- A relevant professional membership such as MRICS/MCIOB (or equivalent).
- Basic salary: £45,585 to £56,585.
