The role of Culinary Team Leader is now open, reporting directly to the Culinary Manager. The successful candidate will play a vital role within the culinary team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding cuisine and exceptional service to all guests. Adherence to brand standards and a commitment to high-quality customer service are essential. A positive and proactive attitude is key for the ideal candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Culinary Team Leader Duties:

  • Collaborating with the team to prepare and cook food items
  • Ensuring that menu items are presented to the highest standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols
  • Assisting the Culinary Manager with daily operations
  • Implementing and upholding food safety regulations to meet compliance standards
  • Aiding in staff scheduling and management
  • Mentoring team members to help them excel in their roles
  • Supporting the Culinary Manager with inventory management to ensure stock levels are maintained

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a culinary role
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team
  • A genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Relevant food safety certifications (preferred)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position of Culinary Team Leader will be based at Aloft Aberdeen, a modern hotel designed to provide a unique experience for guests.
