Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and management, ensuring the appropriate people are recruited and trained to complete their roles.
- Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the care homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, implementing action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.
- Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents, monitoring and evaluating care delivery processes and outcomes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.
Requirements:
- NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
- Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
