Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and management, ensuring the appropriate people are recruited and trained to complete their roles.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the care homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, implementing action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.
  • Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents, monitoring and evaluating care delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.

Requirements:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
