Care Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Support Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our care homes and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management to ensure the smooth operation of our care homes. This includes recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding care to our residents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our care homes are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of our care homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development. Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents. Monitor and evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, and implement improvements as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies. Address and resolve any concerns or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- NMC Registration: Must be a registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting.
- Financial Management: Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
