We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Visitor to join our 0-19+ Service team at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our community. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality health and care services, and contribute to the development of our services to meet the needs of our population.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of universal and partnership plus families, providing health and wellbeing support and interventions as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to meet the needs of children and families, including safeguarding and child protection.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the Healthy Child Programme, and participate in public health activities within our geographical area.
- Provide leadership and support to colleagues, including mentoring and coaching.
- Participate in continuous professional development, including training and education to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Registered Nurse (Adult or Child/RSCN) or Registered Midwife.
- BSc/Public Health Nursing - Health Visiting or equivalent.
- V100 Nurse Prescriber.
- Leadership Level 6.
- Mentorship Level 6.
- Motivational Interviewing trained.
- Solihull Approach trained.
