Job Overview

As a key member of the Belong team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Head Housekeeper/Front of House Manager in ensuring that all village facilities and households meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver domestic services that uphold the core values of Belong and adhere to organisational requirements, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of customers, team members, and visitors.
  • Respond to individual customers' needs for domestic support, enabling them to maintain their household accommodation.
  • Assist the team in responding to requests for assistance with any aspect of housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry tasks.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate qualities that align with the Belong vision and values.
  • Communicate clearly and maintain a professional manner.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure customer needs are met and team goals are achieved.
  • Prioritise tasks and complete them to the required standard and in a timely manner.
  • Able to undertake moving and handling of loads, which may involve using specialist equipment.
  • Able to undertake housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry, using relevant equipment.
  • Able to complete written work records.
  • Good customer care focus with a desire to serve others.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and the ability to follow product safety advice sheets and procedures.
  • Reliable and able to fulfill contracted hours and work patterns, e.g., days, evenings, weekends.
  • Diploma/NVQ 2 in Cleaning and Building Interiors or equivalent (essential or working/prepared to work towards).
  • Experience of previous commercial or domestic cleaning.
