Fame Recruitment is seeking an Ambitious Fundraising Professional to join our client's fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising specialist to develop and manage relationships with trusts, foundations, and major donors to secure funds for a nationwide not-for-profit organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing trusts, foundations, and donors to secure funds and meet annual income targets.
  • Produce high-quality, tailored trust and foundation applications, including researching, planning, reporting, and seeing through to completion.
  • Monitor grant requirements and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting to funders and maintaining accurate records on the database.
  • Research and identify potential funders or prospects for new applications and establish a pipeline of potential approaches to grow the number of grants.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to understand the organisation as a whole and identify new opportunities for fundraising activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in a not-for-profit, public sector, or third-party role.
  • Proven experience delivering in a similar role and successfully bringing in money.
  • Experience in identifying, sourcing, and writing applications.
  • Confidence using CRM databases (preferably Raisers Edge or similar), high-level working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Numeracy skills with the ability to analyse reports and budgets.
