The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a 3-year international grants strategy, researching and preparing proposals for potential major donors, trusts, and foundations, and coordinating international and joint bids. They will also be responsible for developing a pipeline of existing and potential trusts and foundations, identifying and developing processes and systems to support the growth of grants income, and identifying suitable projects within the organisation's plan to build cases for support and satisfy donor wish lists.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in grant writing at a not-for-profit, preferably an international NGO, and a track record of identifying and securing significant funds from trusts, foundations, and corporates. They will also have expertise in the development of grant application strategies and proposals, experience with different grant-making bodies and requirements, and excellent project-management and organisational skills.
