Role Overview

Location: Liverpool

As an Inventory Supervisor, you will oversee stock management, including the reordering of supplies, ensuring effective inventory oversight, and facilitating a seamless flow of materials. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Supervisor to uphold the highest operational standards.

This position is site-based, operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Salary: £29,795.22 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all company assets and materials in line with established stock control and procurement protocols.
  • Oversee the receipt of ingredients and supplies, performing quality and quantity assessments in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Evaluate and process items for potential damage, waste, or reuse, ensuring proper documentation and communication with relevant parties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards within the inventory area.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and reorder supplies as necessary, ensuring accurate record-keeping of stock movements.
  • Goods Receiving: Manage deliveries, inspect items, verify quantities, and input data into the site systems. Liaise with suppliers to address any discrepancies.
  • Inventory Control: Update inventory management systems, analyze usage trends, and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport goods within the inventory and yard areas.
  • Dispatch Support: Occasionally assist in the dispatch area, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to health & safety and food safety regulations while handling materials and operating equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the inventory area.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A valid Forklift License is essential.
  • Basic IT proficiency (Word/Excel) is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
