Company Overview: Orridge and Co Ltd is a prominent provider of inventory management services across various sectors including Retail, Supply Chain, and Pharmacy. We are currently seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Supervisor to join our accomplished team.

The selected candidate will oversee a small group of inventory specialists at client locations while conducting inventory assessments. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory evaluations are performed efficiently and professionally using advanced scanning technology.

No previous inventory experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of inventory personnel, offering guidance, training, and support.
  • Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety protocols within your team.
  • Conduct inventory assessments utilizing our specialized inventory management system.
  • Maintain communication with clients throughout the inventory process.
  • Follow specific client procedures diligently.
  • Meet all client-specific service level agreements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new inventory specialists.
  • Address any inquiries from team members regarding the inventory process.
  • Achieve all productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of electronic count data and related documentation.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines and manage a busy workload.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Flexibility in work approach.
  • Possession of a full driving license.

Additional Information:

  • This role involves manual handling tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
  • Travel to various locations may be required.
