About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Inventory Manager to join our team at Allied Milling and Baking. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of stock levels, including reordering of goods and monitoring inventory movements.
  • Ensure efficient inventory control, including receiving and inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities, and inputting data into our inventory management systems.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete items and implementing strategies to optimize inventory.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to offload, load, and move goods within the stores and yard area.
  • Assist in the dispatch and basket wash area, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols while handling materials and operating the forklift, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Forklift license essential.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
  • SAP experience desirable but not essential.
