Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Programme Leader to lead our Molecular and Cellular Medicine research programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive research strategy that aligns with our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a research programme focused on molecular and cellular medicine, with a strong emphasis on securing funding and delivering high-quality research.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify research opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Manage and lead a team of researchers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of research projects.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures, as well as relevant external regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field, with significant experience in research leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of securing funding and delivering high-quality research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of researchers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
