We are seeking a talented researcher to lead a new partnership grant, focusing on collaborative research opportunities in the field of medical research. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing new, high-value collaborative activities or capabilities that add value to high-quality scientific programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a new partnership between diverse groups of researchers within the remit of the Medical Research Council (MRC).
- Establish new, high-value collaborative activities or capabilities that add value to high-quality scientific programmes.
- Work closely with research organisations to identify and develop new research opportunities.
- Collaborate with researchers to develop and implement new research projects.
- Ensure that all research projects are aligned with the goals and objectives of the MRC.
- Employed by a research organisation eligible to apply for MRC funding.
- Aiming to create a novel partnership between a diverse group of researchers.
- Plan to establish new, high-value collaborative activities or capabilities that add value to high-quality research programmes already supported by MRC or other funders.
- Ability to direct the project and be actively engaged in the work, or contribute to the academic leadership of the partnership.
- Focus on research areas such as infections and immunity, molecular and cellular medicine, neurosciences and mental health, or population and systems medicine.
- Completed the pre-application stage and been invited to the full application stage.
To be eligible to apply for this funding opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
