Shunter DriverWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shunter Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within our warehouse facility.
Your Responsibilities- Operate heavy goods vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Securely strap and photograph loads as required, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety standards.
- Maneuver trailers within the yard, utilizing your driving skills and knowledge of warehouse layout to optimize space utilization.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary paperwork related to vehicle operations and load handling.
- Possess a full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement, demonstrating your experience in operating heavy goods vehicles.
- Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC), signifying your commitment to professional driver training and development.
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding driver hours and working time.
- Maintain a clean driving record with no more than 6 current penalty points on your licence.
- Have no DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.
