Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Lorry Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting waste and materials to various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 2 / 18 tonne / C / HGV vehicle safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials at designated locations
- Complete delivery notes and waste transfer paperwork accurately
- Interact with customers, clients, and members of the public in a professional manner
- Secure loads for transport to prevent damage or loss
Requirements:
- Valid HGV license (Class 2 / 18 tonne / C)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (minimal manual handling)
