Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Night Food and Beverage Chief Steward to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the back of house operation during the night, alongside the Back of House manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of all cutlery and crockery and the overall upkeep of all back of house stock levels.
  • Receive any goods for the Back of House area and thoroughly check them before accepting.
  • Assist the training, coaching and development of the Food and Beverage Stewards during the night and provide feedback to measure training effectiveness.
  • Identify training needs in the back of house area and ensure that all team members have the opportunity for development and growth.
  • Participate in health and safety audits alongside the Back of House Manager.

About You:

  • Current Back of House supervisory experience in a similar hotel or environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to proactively prioritise business needs in order to drive and support the back of house operations teams.
  • Displays a working knowledge of the back of house areas of the Hotel in order to assist internal & external clients.
  • Be up to date with current health and safety procedures and requirements in food and beverage.
  • Have health and safety qualifications at a minimum CIEH Level Two.
