Purpose of the Role


ZEISS Vision Care is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth from existing national accounts, ensuring the company's ambitious growth strategies are achieved.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To execute business plans across defined territories in line with ZEISS Vision Care's budget and growth expectations.
  • To build and maintain successful relationships with key customers, driving business growth and performance.
  • To deliver exceptional account management, influencing, and training skills, with a deep understanding of ZEISS products and market trends.
  • To develop and implement training programs across key target stores, engaging with diverse audiences, including optometrists, dispensing opticians, and optical consultants.
  • To lead projects with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, marketing, sales, finance, and customer service, to deliver budgeted activities on time and in full.
  • To utilize commercial dashboards and reporting to identify sales and product trends at the customer level, maximizing business opportunities.
  • To uphold ZEISS Vision Care's values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.


Required Skills and Experience:


Must have:

  • Proven academic qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent.
  • A proven track record of success in sales and revenue generation.
  • Experience in optical dispensing and retail sales.
  • Demonstrable experience in optical training and development.
