Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong background in testing both software and hardware components of medical devices. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of product quality in our innovative medical device development company.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and Implementing Test Procedures: Develop comprehensive testing protocols for both software and hardware aspects of our electronic medical devices.
  • Understanding Product Requirements: Collaborate with the design team to gain insights into product specifications, intended use, and design features.
  • Creating Test Plans: Formulate detailed test plans and generate test cases to evaluate product performance.
  • Automated Testing: Identify opportunities for automation in testing processes and implement solutions.
  • Quality Reporting: Document and report any product quality issues, working closely with the team to address and resolve these concerns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all testing procedures align with the company’s Quality Management System and adhere to relevant regulatory standards.
  • Test Reporting: Prepare thorough test reports for regulatory submissions.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (fields such as Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical are preferred).
  • Proven experience in testing both software and hardware products.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems specific to medical products.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
