Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Your primary responsibility will be to review and approve product samples, test reports, and gold seals, ensuring that they meet our quality and regulatory requirements. You will also conduct fit-for-use testing, user trials, and benchmarking to ensure that our products meet customer expectations.
In addition, you will be responsible for managing customer complaints and queries, including product recalls and corrective actions. You will collaborate with suppliers, test houses, and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous product quality and provide technical support for import/export queries.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong knowledge of UK/EU legislation, product labeling, and ethical auditing. You should have excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve product samples, test reports, and gold seals
- Conduct fit-for-use testing, user trials, and benchmarking
- Ensure compliance with UK/EU legislation and maintain updated knowledge on regulatory changes
- Manage customer complaints and queries, including product recalls and corrective actions
- Collaborate with suppliers, test houses, and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous product quality
- Provide technical support for import/export queries
Requirements:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Design is desirable
- Proven experience in a similar role within retail, manufacturing, or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a Quality Assurance function
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU legislation, product labeling, and ethical auditing
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a commercial mindset
- Willingness to travel and work across the UK, Ireland, and Europe
