Position Overview

Prospero Teaching is actively seeking experienced SEN Educators to deliver personalized support to young learners.

About the Role

We collaborate with local educational authorities and special educational needs departments across the UK to offer tailored educational assistance to individuals who are currently outside of traditional schooling, those requiring extra help, and students with special educational needs.

We are in search of qualified and seasoned educators to assist primary-aged students with special educational needs who are not engaged in conventional educational settings.

Given the unique requirements of the students we support, candidates must possess a solid background and a comprehensive understanding of special educational needs.

Role Specifications:

  • Location: Bexley area.
  • Position: Primary SEN Educator
  • Hours: 10 hours per week
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 2 hours each day
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs or those disengaged from education
  • Classroom teaching experience within the UK
  • Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Two professional references related to child care.
