Position Overview

Lime Talent is collaborating with a distinguished, employee-owned food enterprise in Surrey for the role of Brand Marketing Lead. This organization provides major UK retailers, food service, and manufacturing clients with a range of Own Label and Branded ambient products.

In this role, you will immerse yourself in a vibrant and fast-evolving atmosphere, crafting a strategy aimed at increasing market presence, bolstering brand image, and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will take charge of developing pivotal brands while maintaining a comprehensive perspective on the business concerning all marketing initiatives and key stakeholder interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and orchestrating all marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives for both new and existing offerings, ensuring synergy with the Commercial team.
  • Enhancing and expanding marketing channels, particularly through social media platforms.
  • Spotting trends and opportunities for new product development (NPD) across the organization.
  • Formulating the brand strategy, which includes establishing style guides, brand standards, brand vision, and value propositions for both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Translating brand strategies into actionable brand plans, positioning, and market entry strategies.
  • Evaluating the success of all marketing activities, including their impact on sales initiatives.
  • Reviewing sales projections and relevant financial data, reporting on product performance, return on investment, and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborating closely with the Commercial and Insights teams to coordinate the creation of marketing materials and printed resources, ensuring that all marketing collateral is current and tailored for key markets as necessary.
  • Working in partnership with the Technical team to manage ongoing product development, including the design of labels and packaging for our product assortment.
  • Regularly updating and maintaining website content.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Preferably, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • A degree in business or marketing with a classification of 2.1 or higher.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Highly driven and focused on project outcomes.
  • A self-motivated individual with an initiative-driven mindset.
  • A passion for food is advantageous.
