Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced pharmacist to lead the delivery of a new high-risk medicines monitoring service in the primary care pharmacy team. The post holder will work closely with secondary care specialist teams to ensure best care is delivered to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on shared care of high-risk medicines
  • Provide expert advice on medicines to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure the use of medicines is cost-effective and meets patient needs

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in primary and/or secondary care
  • Good clinical background
  • Independent prescribing qualification

Working Arrangements

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. We are open to consideration of part-time and flexible working requests for this full-time post.
