Job Summary
NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Physician in General Medicine to join our team in Western Isles Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rural healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical care to patients in Western Isles Hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of general medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in medical education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our medical staff.
- Contribute to the development of our rural healthcare services, including the implementation of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Eligibility to register with the GMC Specialist Register or eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register within 6 months of the date of interview.
- License to Practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a rural healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
