Position Title:
Executive Chef

Reports To:
Deputy Nurse Manager

Role Overview:

The Executive Chef plays a pivotal role in overseeing kitchen operations and leading the culinary team to ensure the preparation and delivery of nutritious and balanced meals. This position is essential in adhering to a structured menu while accommodating individual dietary preferences and requirements.

The Executive Chef may also be called upon to provide culinary support in various facilities within the Macklin Group as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations
- Maintain excellent health standards and fitness for duty
- Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- Engage with elderly residents with empathy and understanding
- Adapt work hours flexibly to meet organizational needs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a management role
- A minimum of three years in a similar culinary position
