**Role**:
Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join our team based at our Head Office in Bellaghy
**Overview**:
The Workshop Controller will be responsible for ensuring service and repairs are carried out effectively and accurately to achieve the highest possible standards for technical quality. The Workshop Controller will also be responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in the workshop. They will liaise between Foreman, Service Manager and the Technicians to ensure that all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently, keeping the customers expectations top of mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organising workflows
- Undertake quality inspections
- Monitor progress of repairs and service and communicate to service advisor of any delays
- Check capacity in the workshop based on any additional work requirements
- Ensure that quality checks are carried out as per standards
- Ensure all Inspection paper work is fully completed and signed off
- Ensure all associated administration is completed to a high standard, accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Monitor and give feedback on Technicians quality and efficiency
- Working closely with vehicle damage assessment and parts teams, you will strive for customer excellence and strong financial performance
- When work is complete, close down job cards, ensuring parts/labour are allocated accordingly
- Send estimates for approval before any work is carried out
**Experience**:
- The drive and passion to deliver high quality repairs and customer outcomes
- Someone who can work as part of a team with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of modern repair methods with an ability to maximise repair opportunities
- Technical Knowledge and qualifications relating to vehicle maintenance
- Previous experience of supervising or managing Technicians
- Computer Literate
- Completed Required Training Courses
- The capability of working to the highest quality standards and to efficiency targets
- Commercial awareness - ability to maximise productivity/profit
- Willingness to embrace best practices
- Qualification and experience
- Full clean UK driving licence, including category CE or D
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
