National Build Governance Lead

Position Overview: The National Build Governance Lead is responsible for establishing, owning, and continuously enhancing the frameworks, systems, processes, controls, and capabilities necessary to oversee national build operations on behalf of the organization and its stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage national build standards to ensure adherence to UK regulatory and statutory requirements while achieving defined business objectives, cost efficiency, and performance targets.
- Continuously improve governance strategies and control mechanisms related to national build operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all relevant forums.
- Demonstrate expertise in construction planning, including risk assessment, work planning, health and safety protocols, and method statements.
- Utilize extensive build knowledge acquired from experience in mobile telecommunications network deployment, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven outcomes.
- Develop and maintain build standards and guidelines within mobile network infrastructure settings, focusing on quality assurance and ongoing improvement.
- Possess in-depth understanding of methodologies and processes essential for constructing network infrastructure or deploying networks through partnerships, contractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee build programs within a Telecommunications Cellular Network Infrastructure environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and planning skills to deliver program outcomes and achieve business results.
- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is preferred.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications, such as BS7671, are advantageous.
- Experience in managing principal contractor roles is beneficial.
