Role Overview

This position is crucial for fostering the profitable and sustainable development of Boston Scientific by overseeing key process enhancement initiatives within the Customer Care Experience technology and Solutions team. Key responsibilities encompass the development and refinement of our order management solutions, particularly utilizing Esker and Commerce Cloud Platforms. The role demands strong problem-solving capabilities, project management skills, and the execution of process improvements across various software solutions.

You will be responsible for articulating and disseminating the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and development teams. Business optimization initiatives will align with policies and programs while adhering to Boston Scientific's quality systems. Understanding the need for business changes, assessing their impact, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements, and facilitating communication and delivery of these requirements with relevant stakeholders are essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and communicate the product vision and strategy for order management solutions: Esker & OMS (order management solutions) operating on commerce cloud. Ensure product alignment with the company's overarching strategy and objectives, concentrating on order management processes and requirements. Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, focusing on features and enhancements related to order management. Foster communication between stakeholders and the development team, including crafting user stories with acceptance criteria for order management functionalities, providing ongoing feedback and clarification. Monitor product performance and user engagement metrics specific to order management solutions to pinpoint areas for enhancement. Guarantee the backlog is visible, transparent, and comprehensible to all stakeholders. Collect and prioritize requirements from diverse stakeholders, including customers, local customer care, and the commerce cloud team. Act as a liaison to balance stakeholder needs with technical feasibility. Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Cultivate and support a work environment that promotes continuous improvement in line with BSC's Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations. Challenge non-standard processes when necessary. Regularly review and analyze order management workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement, implementing best practices and industry standards to streamline order processing and minimize errors. Establish and maintain a work environment that encourages continuous improvement, supporting BSC's Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Degree or relevant discipline in Business, Engineering, or Science.

Desired Skills:

Product management: Strong grasp of product management principles and best practices. Order Management Systems (OMS): Proficiency with order management platforms such as Esker, Commerce Cloud, or similar solutions. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and IT. Project management: Experience in project management, encompassing planning, execution, and stakeholder management. Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Self-starter: Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Previous experience working successfully within cross-border and virtual teams is advantageous. Provide insights on improving internal efficiencies; stay informed about best practices and market trends. Strong customer care orientation and commitment to creating a meaningful customer experience.

Experience

Product ownership: Minimum 3-5 years, preferably with a focus on order management solutions. Order Management solutions: Experience with order management systems such as Esker, Commerce Cloud, or similar platforms. Language proficiency: Fluent in English; Spanish/Italian is a plus. SAP experience and knowledge of SAP S4/Hana. Not mandatory, but experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is valued. Experience in the medical devices industry. Technical collaboration: Ability to work closely with development teams and IT. Analytical skills (Excel/Tableau).
