Role Overview

This position is pivotal in driving the profitable and sustainable expansion of Boston Scientific by overseeing critical process enhancement initiatives within the Customer Care Experience technology and Solutions team. Key responsibilities encompass the development and refinement of our order management systems, particularly utilizing Esker and Commerce Cloud Platforms. This role requires adept problem-solving abilities, project management expertise, and execution of process improvements across various software solutions.

You will be responsible for articulating and disseminating the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and development teams. This includes optimizing business initiatives in alignment with policies and programs while adhering to Boston Scientific's quality systems. Understanding business transformation needs, evaluating the impact of these changes, and effectively capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements are essential components of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for order management solutions, specifically Esker & OMS (Order Management Solutions) operating on Commerce Cloud. Ensure product alignment with the overall strategic goals of the organization, with a focus on order management processes and requirements. Create, prioritize, and maintain a transparent product backlog, emphasizing features and enhancements related to order management. Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and the development team, including crafting user stories with acceptance criteria for order management functionalities, while providing ongoing feedback and clarification. Monitor product performance and user engagement metrics specific to order management solutions to identify opportunities for enhancement. Ensure the visibility and clarity of the backlog for all stakeholders. Gather and prioritize requirements from diverse stakeholders, including customers and internal teams. Act as a liaison to balance stakeholder needs with technical feasibility. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Foster a work environment that champions continuous improvement, supporting Boston Scientific's Quality Policy and regulatory standards. Challenge non-standard processes when necessary. Regularly review and analyze order management workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for enhancement, implementing best practices to streamline order processing and minimize errors. Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement that aligns with Boston Scientific's Quality Policy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Desired Skills:

Strong grasp of product management principles and best practices. Proficiency with order management platforms such as Esker, Commerce Cloud, or similar solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and IT. Experience in project management, encompassing planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently. Previous experience working within cross-border and virtual teams is advantageous. Provide insights on improving internal efficiencies and stay informed about best practices and market trends. Strong customer care orientation with a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of product ownership experience, preferably focused on order management solutions. Familiarity with order management systems such as Esker, Commerce Cloud, or similar platforms. Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus. Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana is beneficial. Experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is valued but not required. Background in the medical devices industry is preferred. Ability to collaborate closely with development teams and IT. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and Tableau.
