About You
We are in search of a seasoned Vice President of Technology to oversee our technological division, ensuring the successful development and delivery of Clue as a premier product. Collaborating closely with the Chief Product and Marketing Officer and the Product Director, you will ensure that all product facets drive our clients' success. As a member of our Executive team, you will integrate technology with business, introduce innovative solutions to challenges, establish robust security measures, and drive results to facilitate Clue's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a top-tier Intelligence and Investigation Software as a Service:
- Oversee product delivery in alignment with the product roadmap
- Ensure technical excellence throughout the development and release lifecycle to maintain high quality
- Guarantee consistency and pace in development, particularly during sprints
- Possess a deep technical understanding of the product's complexities, including non-functional elements such as hosting, security, and utilized tools
- Own the technical vision and strategy, including the evolution of our architecture to accommodate growing demand
- Collaborate with product leadership and promote cooperation between product and technology teams at all levels
Lead a high-performing team:
- Inspire and guide a strong, effective team
- Provide mentorship and direction to the technology leadership team to foster excellence and accountability
- Promote a culture of high performance, engagement, and productivity within the technology team
- Establish performance metrics to assess delivery effectiveness and value creation
- Ensure the team is well-integrated within Clue and supports the success of other teams
Be an active member of the executive team:
- Facilitate the success of customer, sales, and other functions
- Engage in strategic planning and management
- Play a crucial role in the journey towards market leadership
- Collaborate on problem-solving and continuous improvement across all business areas
Job Purpose
- Lead the technology team to build and deliver a premier product that enables our and our clients' success.
- As a member of the Executive team, drive towards Clue's vision and achieve business objectives.
- Identify and manage technology risks and security for Clue.

Experience and Skills
Our ideal candidate would possess experience in the following areas:
- Demonstrated experience as a Vice President of Technology in a B2B SaaS technology firm.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding results in a rapidly scaling SaaS environment.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and cultivate valued, collaborative relationships.
- Thorough understanding of financials, budgets, and business planning.
