About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused leader to lead our product and intelligence teams at GDS Group.

The successful applicant will be responsible for daily operations in our Bristol office, driving analysis of existing and future market and technology trends, and delivering excellence in our end-to-end fulfilment and customer experience strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Form part of a senior leadership team in Bristol, working closely with the VP Sales globally, responsible for the continued success of the business.
  2. Deliver analysis of existing and future market and technology trends, including how these trends will create opportunity and/or disruption for our customers.
  3. Drive our intelligence business with new innovations and lead the department to deliver against monthly KPIs.
  4. Overall responsibility of the performance and development of the delegate acquisition team to achieve and exceed business targets.
  5. Ensure the events management team are delivering world-class summits and a superior customer experience throughout the journey, pre-event and onsite.
  6. Monitor the status of all campaigns through the use of Salesforce and guide the delegate team based on data-driven decision making.
  7. Drive adoption with all staff with our CRM (Salesforce) system in line with the business guidelines and rules of engagement.
  8. Lead and develop and management of the product and business operations teams (manpower planning, recruitment, engagement, training and performance evaluation).
  9. Oversight and management of any projects related to product or operations, including ownership of timelines, collaboration with key stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Requirements
  • 8+ years in a leadership position with a proven track record of leading and working across multiple business functions in a product or operational role, preferably within an Events environment.
  • Proven experience in a research, intelligence or an advisory business is desired.
  • Strong awareness of technology trends, influence and impact.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into execution plans with a bias towards action.
  • Superior analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Crisp and effective communication skills, including significant experience presenting cross-functionally and across all levels.
  • Experience managing multiple departments and large-scale operations.
