Job Title: Effects Management Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Effects Management Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our FCAS programme, you will play a crucial role in defining and developing Effects Management Segment concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and invest in relevant technologies
  • Link delivery programmes to identify collaboration opportunities
  • Map Effect Management Segment technologies back into customer needs and opportunities
  • Generate and refine concepts
  • Analyze concept capability and competitor product technical performance
  • Inform and create links with Research and Technology activities
  • Plan, support, and develop demos of related technologies
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the future operating environment
  • Ability to work with multiple disciplinary functions supporting technology and concepting
  • Confidence to embrace uncertainty in early concept development
  • Ability to employ new techniques and utilise new ideas and technologies
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing/emerging requirements
  • Appreciation of weapons systems, platforms, and sub-systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders
  • Experience working autonomously and with senior support
