About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Transfer Associate to join our Custody Asset Transfers team within our Client Accounting department. As an Asset Transfer Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of client money and asset transfers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update asset transfers accurately on client portfolios and confirm receipt of asset transfer confirmation on the same day.
  • Communicate effectively with third-party providers and fund managers to ensure efficient transfer processes.
  • Adhere to industry-wide frameworks for improving transfers and re-registrations, achieving same-day turnaround times.
  • Investigate, resolve, and escalate queries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Client Operations to improve processes collectively.
Departmental Responsibilities
  • Ensure procedures and process maps are updated when processes change and reviewed quarterly to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Stay aware of CASS 6/7/8 and other relevant regulations impacting core processes in the Client Accounting Department.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand how the Department's activities support the Transact business proposition.
  • Adhere to FCA regulations on Consumer Duty, ensuring we do the right thing for our clients.
  • Drive a professional and ethical culture within the Department, aligned with the FCA's principles for business.
Person Specification
  • Excellent phone manner and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to be a conscientious team player with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive individual who takes ownership of tasks under pressure.
  • Aptitude for working with complex data accurately.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills.
  • Beneficial to have a degree with a Mathematics, Economics, or Finance focus.
