About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care and supervision to residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
  • Assist with management tasks, including supervisions, observations, rota planning, medication audits, and end-of-month medication reviews.
  • Support the management function, including assisting with staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and the management team.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • A committed and organized approach, with the ability to work flexibly, including weekends.
  • NVQ level 3 as a minimum (or working towards).
  • Availability to work on-call within the management team.
