Position: Senior Tax Advisor

Location: Flexible working arrangements available. Compensation: Competitive salary up to £95,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional tax business partnering by developing a deep understanding of the organization.
  • Offer strategic insights and assistance to the Director of Tax Strategy & Advisory in formulating and upholding tax policies.
  • Maintain a governance-focused approach to tax advisory, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess the external landscape for regulatory updates and analyze their implications for the organization.
  • Demonstrate the effective tax rate and the accounting consequences of tax recommendations.
  • Foster and sustain productive relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Contribute strategically to tax risk management, particularly in corporate tax matters.
  • Lead various projects for the team, which may encompass tax technology, operations, governance, and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of UK corporate and international tax regulations.
  • Experience as an in-house tax advisor within a large multinational enterprise or in a senior role at a professional services firm.
  • Proven track record in managing relationships with tax authorities and senior stakeholders.
