Position: Lead Tax Consultant
Location: Flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
Compensation: Competitive salary up to £95,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional tax business partnership, cultivating a deep understanding of the organization.
- Offer strategic guidance and assistance to the Director of Tax Strategy & Advisory in formulating and sustaining tax policies and strategies.
- Focus on governance in tax advisory, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- Continuously assess the external landscape for regulatory developments and analyze their implications for the organization.
- Demonstrate the impact of tax advice on effective tax rates and accounting practices.
- Establish and nurture successful relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Contribute strategically to tax risk management, particularly in corporate taxation.
- Lead various ad hoc projects for the team, which may encompass tax technology, operations, governance, and reporting.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive expertise in UK corporate and international tax.
- Experience as an in-house tax advisor within a large multinational enterprise or in a senior role at a professional services firm.
- Proven experience as a senior tax advisor or business partner.
- History of managing relationships with tax authorities and senior stakeholders.
