Job Title: Events Marketing Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading B2B publishing and events brand as an Events Marketing Manager. As the successful candidate, you will take a lead role in expanding the reach and revenue of approximately 8 global conferences during an exciting growth phase for the company.

You will lead audience acquisition and marketing communications for the portfolio of conferences and awards, optimising existing strategies and introducing new ideas to drive growth.

There will also be opportunities to travel to these events in the US, Asia, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-calibre, coordinated marketing campaigns for multiple conferences and awards, including both free and paid delegate campaigns.
  • Utilise a mix of channels including but not limited to email, social media, and content marketing, to maximise event visibility and registration
  • Use intuitive lead-generation techniques for data capture of new prospects
  • Devise and implement strategies to increase the return rate of event attendees
  • Build and manage databases, keeping data up to date and relevant for every campaign
  • Test, measure, and evaluate channels and tactics, making adjustments to improve results
  • Manage event websites, ensuring they are user-friendly and optimised for conversion
  • Create and manage partnerships with media/association partners, as well as speakers and sponsors, to further expose the brand and maximise revenue
  • Develop and deliver content marketing strategies that enhance the events' social media presence
  • Coordinate with Operations and Programming teams to produce marketing deliverables including sponsor material and post-event reports
  • Work with the Product Marketers to ensure event marketing aligns with the overall marketing strategy
